University Libraries offer several resources to assist you in your research efforts:
- Research Guides offer research assistance, subject guides, and useful resources compiled by university librarians.
- Library research tutorials provide guidance on: Defining Your Research Topic, Choosing & Using Research Tools, Working with Search Results, and Writing & Citing.
- This tutorial offers help on finding the correct databases in UNM’s online library.
In addition, the following are helpful resources at UNM for research assistance:
- The Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research (RECR) program of the Office of the Vice President for Research provides information about Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), research compliance, plagiarism, responsible publication, and a variety of other research tools and resources.
- The Human Research Protections Office provides information about the review and approval process of the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
- The Graduate Student Funding Initiative (GSFI) offers a “one stop shop” for preparing funding proposals as well as training sessions in four areas: Grant Writing, Principal Investigator Eligibility, Research Ethics, and Research Compliance.
