Office of International Programs and Studies (OIPS): OIPS provides services to international students and scholars coming to UNM, coordinates opportunities for UNM students to study overseas and offers intensive English language programs to students interested in studying in the U.S. As an advocate for international programs on campus, OIPS helps to prepare UNM faculty, administrators, and students to understand and work effectively in a complex and rapidly changing global community. Center for English Language and American Culture (CELAC): CELAC is an intensive English program designed for international students and/or professionals who wish to develop college-level skills in listening, reading, writing, grammar and speaking in order to prepare for US academic studies or for work purposes. http://www.unm.edu/~celac/.
World Student Alliance (WSA): The purpose of WSA is to serve as a forum where past, present and future International and American Study Abroad students share experiences and participate in various activities. WSA encourages the exchange of international cultural and academic information in the UNM community. Through WSA, you can get information regarding UNM, Albuquerque, Academic Departments, Housing, Roommates, Social Events etc. To join the World Student Alliance, login to your Facebook account and search for 'World Student Alliance'.
International Couples and Scholars Organization (ICASO): The International Couples and Scholars Organization is an organization for couples at UNM who have an interest in meeting others from around the world.
