African American Student Services: The African American Student Services program at UNM provides culturally relevant programs designed to assist primarily African American students in making a confident transition and successful adjustment to the University if New Mexico. The program strives to provide an environment that is sensitive to the culture and history of African Americans and assist African American students in achieving their educational goals. http://aass.unm.edu/.

American Association of University Professors: The AAUP's purpose is to advance academic freedom and shared governance, to define fundamental professional values and standards for higher education, and to ensure higher education's contribution to the common good. http://www.aaup.org/aaup.

American Indian Student Services: American Indian Student Services provides cultural and academic programming for American Indian students attending the University of New Mexico in an effort to ensure their academic achievement and assist in the development of personal, cultural, and social success. AISS is also a liaison for Native students attending local high schools and schools located on or near tribal reservations; tribal and community colleges; tribal governments; and tribal higher education programs and organizations that directly impact the recruitment and retention of American Indian students at the University of New Mexico. http://aiss.unm.edu/.

Commuter & Non-Traditional Students Office: The UNM Association for Non-Traditional Students (ANTS) is a student-run organization offering non-traditional students a variety of resources, information, and peer support networks to assist in acclimating and succeeding in the university environment. Membership is open to any student registered at UNM. Typically members are adults pursuing a career change, students returning after time away from college, transfer students, and first-time adult college students. El Centro de la Raza: Established in 1969, for students by student and community activists, El Centro continues the legacy of advocacy, holistic support and partnerships. The El Centro de la Raza family – an ever evolving and symbiotic group of students, faculty, staff, community members and families – strives to stand together against oppression and transcend geographic and cultural communities for the achievement of collective power through life-long learning. Information Technologies (IT): IT's primary mission is to provide quality and professional service to the UNM community, especially fast response and timely solutions to customer needs and questions. Principles guiding this service consolidation include: providing access, support, privacy, security to all of the University's IT customers, improving the effectiveness of IT services, sharing IT resources across UNM, coordinating IT planning and communication for better use of resources, ensuring the development and sustainability of high IT standards for UNM. http://it.unm.edu/.

University Libraries: The University Libraries function as UNM’s primary information provider, chief digital information broker and, often, as its primary research-skills trainer. It serves the entire University community with quality materials and services and supports users at all levels, from entering freshman to scholars working on highly advanced research topics. The University Libraries is comprised of four libraries including three research programs and a research center which provide an entrance into the world of scholarship and information: Centennial Science and Engineering Library, Fine Arts and Design Library, Parish Memorial Library, and Zimmerman Library. The library system obtains, disseminates and preserves information in a wide variety of formats. Its holdings include books (2.1 million), journals, serials, manuscripts, and digital resources. Non-Degree Graduate Student Services (NDGSS): Non-Degree is an academic unit that allows students holding bachelor's degrees to earn academic credit without being admitted into a graduate degree program of study. The Non-Degree program accommodates post-baccalaureate students who wish to begin taking academic graduate courses at UNM without taking college entrance exams, or those who may have missed the degree status application deadline. Parking and Transportation Services: The Parking and Transportation services provides support to the University's education, research and service missions by providing access to key programs for faculty, staff, students and visitors through a variety of transportation services that consider the needs of each customer. http://pats.unm.edu/.

Recreational Services: The mission of the Recreational Services Department of the University of New Mexico is to provide a wide variety of opportunities to enhance the educational, recreational and cultural experiences for a diverse University community. http://recsvcs.unm.edu/.

UNM Child Care: The mission of Children’s campus is to provide the children of UNM's student, staff and faculty families with a high quality early childhood, educational and childcare experience. They are particularly committed to serving student families at affordable rates by working with all agencies that will subsidize their care. In addition, they serve the University community by providing a model program that exemplifies cutting-edge practice in early childhood education and that provides a setting for study, observation, research and training.
