Project for New Mexico Graduates of Color (PNMGC):  PNMGC is a student-based organization working to build community among historically underrepresented groups in graduate school. For their current activities and how to get involved visit http://pnmgc.unm.edu/.

Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA):  The GPSA has been a recognized Graduate and Professional student government organization at the University of New Mexico since 1969. GPSA strives to identify, promote, and support interests and concerns that are important to the welfare and academic development of graduate/professional students at UNM. Society of Native American Graduate Students (SNAGS):  The purpose of  SNAGS is to better represent growing concerns and interests of graduate students at UNM.  Contact them at http://www.unm.edu/%7esnags06/.

Veterans Resource Center (VRC):  The VRC at UNM is run by Veterans for Veterans. Available to all veterans and their families, the VRC help veteran students navigate through the challenges of transitioning from the military to a civilian/academic environment. All veterans; active duty, reserve, guard, separated and retired, and their dependents who would like to explore the possibility of attending UNM and/or any other State of New Mexico Accredited Higher Education Institution can use the services of VRC. http://vrc.unm.edu/.
