Jessica Nodulman is a Ph.D. student in the Communication and Journalism department. She has taught for seven years at universities and community colleges in New Mexico, Ohio, and Illinois. Courses she has taught include Speech Communication, Communication Studies, Communication and Conflict, Interpersonal Communication, Small Group Communication, Organizational Communication, Business and Professional Speaking, and Persuasion. At Bowling Green State University she served as a Basic Course Director and has extensive experience managing and facilitating basic and advanced courses. She is interested in the scholarship of teaching and learning having received a certificate in community college pedagogy, serving on learning communities specializing in pedagogy, presenting research and leading round table discussions on teaching the basic course at national conferences, and attending professional development seminars such as the Teaching Professor Conference. nodulman@unm.edu
Anjana Mudambi is a doctoral student in Communication and Journalism with an emphasis in intercultural communication. Her initial forays into teaching were in India, where she attended college, and she has continued teaching in the United States at various universities across the country. Courses she has taught include Public Speaking, Small Group Communication, and Race, Ethnicity, and Communication. Anjana has also worked as an immigration coordinator for a software company. Her research interests revolve around discursive representations of culture, focusing on issues of race and ethnicity. amudambi@unm.edu
